The rumor came from an article published by Globe magazine, according to Gossip Cop. In the article, an unnamed insider claimed that the “Friends” star enjoys a few glasses of wine in most days, which might not suit well with Pitt as the actor is giving an all-out effort to stay sober.

“She adores him and is so excited about their amazing new connection, but he’s totally sober and finds it very uncomfortable being around people who booze,” Globe cited the unnamed source.

Pitt is a bit wary of associating with alcohol drinkers these days. The tipster explained that the actor “doesn’t want to be tempted into that dark lifestyle he left behind when he decided to sober up.”

Pitt and Aniston reportedly had low-key dates at each other’s homes. However, the pair hasn’t yet officially confirmed they’re back together romantically which might be because of Jen’s drinking.

“Brad and Jen have so much love for each other and it’s an open secret they’d like to figure things out romantically,” the tipster said. “The booze situation is a real problem, though, because he simply cannot be with someone who’s a regular drinker.”

Drinking in moderation is reportedly part of Aniston’s life that she’s reluctant to let go as it helps her relax and unwind at the end of the day. “If Jen chooses Brad, she’s going to have to find other ways to unwind,” the source added.

Despite the numerous speculative articles about the supposed rekindling of their romance, both parties have already denied rumors that they might be romantically involved once more.
