Jennifer Aniston Fakes A Call Amid Rumors She And Brad Pitt Are In Touch

Jennifer Aniston allegedly faked a phone call as she stepped out in West Hollywood on Tuesday. The sighting came a day after a source close to her had confirmed that she’s dating casually and staying in touch with ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Aniston and Pitt may have parted ways 15 years ago, but there’s no bad blood between them. In fact, both of them have revealed in separate interviews that they have kept in touch since their divorce and have remained friends all these years.

Rumors about Aniston and Pitt possibly getting back together resurfaced in February, when Aniston invited Pitt to her 50th birthday bash. The ex-lovers reportedly shared a quick hug at the party, and everyone was as shocked as could be. Considering their difficult past, it came as a surprise for everyone at the party how Aniston had actually managed to remain friends with Pitt.

Despite rumors that there’s a chance for them to get back together, both Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have maintained that they’re just friends. While Pitt is currently navigating through his difficult divorce process with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, friends of Aniston revealed earlier this week that the “Friends” star is finally back to the dating game. It, however, looks like she doesn’t want to talk about it just yet. So it was said that she faked a phone call to avoid the paparazzi during her outing last Tuesday.

It was reportedly clear that Aniston wanted to avoid being recognized when she stepped out of a shopping center in Hollywood on Tuesday. As soon as she finished shopping, she got her phone out and pretended to talk to someone, with the screensaver of her iPhone still visible from meters away.

Earlier this week, a source revealed that through the encouragement of her friends, Aniston has been able to finally get out and enjoy casual dates. “The support she has had from women in her life has truly helped her move on and upward and, with lots of encouragement from friends, she finally has started dating,” the source said. “Lisa [Kudrow] and Courtney [Cox] and Jen are really close and have encouraged her to date and get out there,” the source added.

The source also revealed that Aniston continues to stay in touch with Pitt and they occasionally talk, but Pitt is not included in her dating list. “…They occasionally talk,” the source said. “They both have come so far,” the source added.
