Jennifer Aniston And Brad Pitt Didn’t Get Married In ‘Fight Club’ Star's Backyard

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were previously rumored to have tied the knot again in the latter’s backyard in Los Angeles. The fabricated report came years after Aniston and Pitt divorced.

A tabloid reported that the former couple rekindled their romance, and they also had a private wedding at Pitt’s home. The story was published on the cover of the tabloid, and it also featured a photo of the “Friends” star in a white wedding gown. Pitt, on the other hand, is wearing a tuxedo.

An unnamed source allegedly told the tabloid that all of Pitt’s six children with Angelina Jolie were present at the nuptials. George Clooney also reportedly served as Pitt’s best man.

But according to the rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, there is no truth to the claims. Pitt and Aniston didn’t rekindle their romance, and they didn’t also get married again. The former couple couldn’t have also remarried each other at the time when the story was released because Pitt and Aniston have not legally divorced their ex-partners then.

Additionally, Clooney couldn’t have possibly been Pitt’s best man because he was in Italy when the so-called wedding took place. Pitt’s six children were also in England with Jolie at that time because the actress was filming for “Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil.”

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop also confirmed that the photo of Pitt and Aniston seemingly wearing their wedding attire was also fabricated. The actors posed in two different photographs that were photoshopped together to make it seem as though they really tied the knot.

According to the publication, the tabloid ran the fake story exactly a year ago. But until today, they have not retracted their claims or even apologized for it. Pitt and Aniston divorced in 2005, but the two stayed good friends even after their split.

But things have not always been easy for the actors. After they divorced, Pitt started dating Jolie and had kids together. According to Vanity Fair interviewer Leslie Bennetts, when she asked Aniston about Jolie’s pregnancy, she looked as though she got stabbed in the heart.

“Her eyes well up and spill over,” she said. “Several long minutes go by as the tears keep rolling down her cheeks; she bites her lip, seemingly unable to speak,” she added.
