Jenni Rivera's daughter, Chiquis Rivera, opened up in an interview today on Univision's program "El Gordo y La Flaca." Despite rumors suggesting the house would go up for sale in January, the 28-year-old stated that "right now we are not planning on selling the house." Indeed, the late-singer's room has been left entirely intact: Chiquis explained that her mother's room was "exactly how she left it, her bed, her pyjamas where she left them, her clothes, her shows - everything the way my mom left it." She went on to describe how she dealt with the anniversary of ther mother's death by spending a lot of time in her room. She concluded by saying "I can't imagine myself selling the house and having to move her things, no, no I don't see it, I can't."
Jenni Rivera passed away in December 2012, leaving the 9,527-square-foot Encino estate to her children. The house, which Rivera purchased in 2008, has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The home was purchased for $3.3 million. The impressive home sits on 4 acres and has a large grassy lawn, pool and entertainment patio that includes a spa and waterfall. Rivera had an estimatad $7 million of earnings this year as sales of her records soared. Chiquis also spoke about how she has been taking singing lessons as she will soon be playing her mother in a biopic.
