Tennis player, Jerzy Janowicz had a meltdown during the Australian Open.
During a first-set tiebreak against Somdev Devvarman, Janowicz led 9-8; Somdey then hit a return down the line that Janowicz thought was out of bounds. The umpire ruled the ball landed in-bounds, although Janowicz disagreed.
"Oh my God!" screamed Janowicz. "Oh my God," he continued to yell. Janowicz fell to his knees, screaming and yelling, and continued to throw a tantrum on the court.
Approaching the umpire, Janowicz then argued that most of the time when a ball is hit like that, and most importantly where it lands, it's almost always out of bounds. He continued to exclaim his disappointment with the call, yelling, "It's no fun to play like this!"
Somedev recently commented about Jerry's meltdown, "I was just worried about his voice," he said. "I mean, the guy was yelling at the top of his lungs and I was like, 'Dude, just calm down.'"
Janowicz has also commented on his breakdown blaming his emotions during an intense match, "You can't control your emotions all the time," he said in a much better mood after the match. "Actually, I went nuts. I calmed down little bit later on. Sometimes I have problem to control by emotions, but I'm trying to work on this.
