Dayrin Martínez will play young "Lina" in the highly successful series from The CW Network, "Jane The Virgin" starring Gina Rodriguez. The young actress Dayrin, who has been in the entertainment industry since she was 7 years old, will play the role of Jane’s childhood best friend in a fun episode where the topic of virginity is among adolescents’ dialogues. "I feel very fortunate for this opportunity. To work with personalities like Gina Rodriguez and Diane Guerrero motivates me to continue growing when I see that with dedication and love for my profession, I can fulfill my dreams. The scenes that we shot are very funny, you’ll see," Dayrin Martínez shared with LatinWENews.
Dayrin is 11 years old and is the daughter of popular Univision reporter based in Los Angeles, Ninette Ríos, and singer Rogelio Martínez. This young and promising actress, represented by LatinWE, has a recurrent role as "Arzu" in the TV series "Alien Encounters" on the Science Channel, plus credits in short films, TV commercials and appearances on plays such as "Wizard of Oz," "Grease" and "First Thanksgiving." Outside of acting, Dayrin is involved with the non-profit "Locks of Love" and various social and environmental causes. Dayrin enjoys painting, drawing, the outdoors, and animals.
