Jamie Lee Curtis is recovering at home after being hospitalized following a car accident in California.
The Los Angeles Police department has confirmed that Curtis was involved in a collision at 10:10 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Rose Avenue in Venice Beach, California.
After the crash, the 54-year-old reportedly called her good friend Jodie Foster, who came to her aid before the ambulance arrived.
The star reportedly complained of pain and was transported to a local hospital. No crime was committed, authorities said.
According to TMZ, two people, including Jamie, were taken in two separate ambulances to the ER. The actress' injuries were minor while the other person involved in the crash allegedly had more serious injuries.
"Jamie was indeed a passenger in a car involved in a collision this a.m.," the actress' rep told E! News. "She went to the hospital to be checked out, but she is fine and is home resting."
In photographs taken at the scene, Jamie looked shaken up as she spoke to a police officer, and she was also spotted explaining to Jodie what had happened.
Although the two actresses have never starred together in the same movie, they both starred in versions of Disney's Freaky Friday.
Foster starred as the daughter in the original 1976 version while Curtis headlined as the mother in the 2003 remake costarring Lindsay Lohan.
