Former US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump chose a sporty and make-up free look to do the school run in Miami.
The 40-year-old was seen wearing black leggings and a hooded sweatshirt in navy color with a black and white 'V' design in the front when she stepped out of Arte Surfside Wednesday. For the school run, the former White House senior adviser went without make-up and styled her blonde hair in a messy bun, reported Daily Mail. The former first daughter completed her look with a pair of black sneakers and didn't appear to have any jewelry on apart from the red string bracelet that she generally wears on her left wrist. She hasn't spoken about its significance, but it resembles the type of red string that Kabbalah practitioners wear for the purpose of warding off the "evil eye."
Her black SUV was pulled up in front of her luxury oceanfront building by a staff member. She was seen getting behind the wheel before driving away.
Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who is a Modern Orthodox Jew, have three kids together -- Arabella, 10, Joseph, 8, and Theodore, 5. The children are enrolled in a Jewish school in Miami that is not too far from their home. Ivanka converted to Judaism to marry Kushner, and the two are raising their kids in the same faith.
This comes just days after it was reported that Ivanka and her brother Donald Trump Jr. are not willing to comply with subpoenas from Letitia James, who is New York Attorney General. Whether Trump misrepresented his firm's asset values or not is being investigated by James.
A document filed Monday said that "a dispute has arisen between the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and the Individual Trump Parties regarding the subpoenas." The document, filed jointly by James and a lawyer for the Trump Organization, said that Ivanka and Trump Jr. will now be named as respondents in James’ ongoing investigation.
A spokesperson for the AG's office said that as her investigation into financial dealing of Trump's company continues, "James is seeking interviews" under oath of Trump, Trump Jr., and Ivanka. The spokesperson added that despite several attempts to delay their investigation by the Trump Organization, they are confident that their questions will be answered and "the truth will be uncovered because no one is above the law.”
Trump Jr. and his sister sought to block the subpoenas Monday evening.
