Fans of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" should make sure they're within earshot of a television on Wednesday night before they face a long offseason of no new "Sunny." The Gang wraps up Season 9 on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. EST on FXX, when season finale "The Gang Squashes Their Beefs" will air. The show has issued a press release summing up Episode 10 like this: "When some bad blood with old foes compromises their ideal Thanksgiving, the gang decides to make amends by breaking bread with those they've hurt." Last week's episode saw members of the Gang donning blackface (again) for their roles in "Lethal Weapon 6" -- their own not-so-humble addition to the film franchise. We were lucky enough to catch glimpses of its outrageousness as they made the rounds of public offices and banks and other typical places one goes to when one wants to fund a movie. IGN raved about it, saying, "'The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 6' is pretty much a giddy 'gimme' episode -- requiring only our already well-established love of The Gang making hilariously piss-poor Lethal Weapon installments. Murtaugh might be getting too old for this s***, but we're not."

If you're losing sleep over the thought of facing another long winter without new episodes of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" to watch, it's likely you're not alone, because the show's most extreme devotees can be about as frighteningly intense and self-loathing as the sports fans of the City of Brotherly Love, where the show takes place. Kaitlin Olson told Metro Entertainment at the beginning of the season about the weirdest expression of love and devotion by a fan for what she and the rest of the "Gang" do. "The weirdest thing is people getting our [five] faces tattooed on their bodies," she said. "And it's not just one or two, it's happened, like, a big handful of times. And I am shocked every single time. People will tweet us pictures." She went on to advise viewers against ruining their futures in that way because, "The show is going to end one day. And that body will -- hopefully -- be around for a very long time." Click here to watch "The Gang Squashes Their Beefs" when it premieres at 10 p.m. EST on FXX.
