San Martino Spino, a village in Northern Italy, was rattled by a tornado for about an hour on Friday.
This comes a year after the same village endured earthquakes that killed 26 and left 45,000 without shelter, the Telegraph reported.
The tornado injured 13 people and 119 lost their homes, according to Yahoo News UK.
No one was killed, a feat mayor Maino Benatti called a miracle.
Still, many residents were shaken by the force of the storm. One man, Sandro Roversi, took shelter under his tractor as the storm approached and his house was hit.
"I couldn't move, it came so quickly, I was inside. I threw myself underneath, and I was OK. It was an enormous force, enormous," he said.
Temporary lodgings designed for families whose homes were destroyed by last year's earthquake were torn apart by the tornado.
