The iPhone 6 event live stream on the official Apple website will begin Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. EDT, or 10 a.m. PDT. Unfortunately, the Apple live stream will only play on the Safari Web browser on OS X 10.6.8 or later, or iOS 6.0 or later. Apple TV users with 5.0.2 or later can stream the event as well.
Luckily, PC users interested in watching the Apple Live Stream may have a work-around as well. According to International Business Times, tech enthusiasts without OS X or an iOS device can watch the live stream via the VLC media player. Here's how:
Download VLC Player from here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
Install it and everything, make sure it works correctly.
Open the program. Click on Media (top left) > Open Network Stream.
You will see this screen: http://puu.sh/bqV9o.png
Paste this link into that field: http://p.events-delivery.apple.com.edgesuite.net/14pijnadfpvkjnfvpijhabdfvpijbadfv09/m3u8/atv_mvp.m3u8
Note: if the live stream freezes, click on the STOP button and then click PLAY again to restart the stream.
