The iPhone 12 is expected to wow mobile phone market consumers with four new variants set to become available. Though Apple is busy trying to figure out how to meet demand due to the lack of supply, all this should be eventually resolved.
There is no question that the new cameras of the iPhone 12 are what most are eager to check out. People who have plans to get one can do so already with pre-orders slated to begin Friday for the iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Preorders start at 8:00 a.m. ET on Friday although most are reminded that there could be a shortage in supply, USA Today reported.
With most focused on trying to get their hands on an iPhone 12, worth noting is that these have advanced cameras people will enjoy. They will be equipped with f/2.4, 5P (five-element lens) Ultra Wide cameras with fixed focus.
The key thing to note here is the attention that Apple is giving to the cameras. Although it may still be months away, renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has started the ball rolling on what to expect for the iPhone 13.
Kuo released new research, detailing what Apple loyalists should expect for the next iPhone model. He claims that the next batch will still the same four model sizes with each having major improvements in the camera technology side, Mac Rumors reported. Kuo says the Ultra Wide cameras on the two high-end models will be significantly upgraded to f/1.8, 6P (six-element lens) and will now have autofocus functionality.
Also, Kuo goes on to touch on the iPhone 14 as well. That batch will carry on the camera technology that the iPhone 13 will have with Largan coming on board to become the major supplier of voice coil motors (VCM) for the improved Ultra Wide cameras.
With the future seems bright with all these plans for the next iPhone models, Kuo goes on to deliver good news on the shipments of the Apple phones. He foresees an increase in year-on-year and points out some positive factors. This includes a more robust 5G infrastructure by the second half of 2021 and foreseeing a return to the traditional September timeframe for iPhone mass productions and sales.
Aside from that, all other features that the iPhone 13 have been more on rumors. Some claim that the next models will be thin on the ground and have a smaller notch. Aside from that, other potential features of the iPhone 13 include 120Hz-capable ProMotion displays, improved camera sensors and sub-6GHz 5G connectivity.
