Early this week Apple unveiled its iOS 8 software at its annual Worldwide Developer Conference or WWDC. The Cupertino-based company announced a few features including its health initiative, changes to Messages, Photos and more. Well now new details and features have been revealed thanks to iOS 8 beta users all over the internet. Check out some of the new features below:
Share sheet customizations - A member from MacRumors forum has found different sharing options when sending any form of media. The list of apps where content can be shared can be rearranged and disabled, as can the media options such as Copy, Print and AirPlay.
Request desktop site in Safari - Kristian Cruz revealed via his Twitter page that in iOS 8 Safari now includes an option to "Request Desktop Site," which loads the desktop version of a website rather than the mobile version.
Time-Lapse mode for Camera - According to MacRumors the Camera app has gained a new Time-Lapse mode. This mode captures a series of images and then compiles them into a time-lapse video. A MacRumors forum member also revealed new manual exposure controls, which allow exposure to be selected when taking a photo, and a self-timer mode that can be set for three or 10 seconds.
iBooks - The iBooks app now comes pre-installed on your Apple device instead of being a separate download.
Messages - Aside from the improvements mentioned at WWDC there are now options to remove stored messages after a set period of time of 30 days or one year. Plus when adding an image to a message, there's a new feature displaying recent photos for quick insertion.
Grayscale mode - Users found several new Accessibility options, including a new "Grayscale"mode that shifts the entire operating system into shades of black and white check it out below.
Photos - Apple has added a "Recently Deleted" album to the Photos app, which will temporarily host all the photos you delted in case you change your mind.
