Social media users have been reacting to a video of President Donald Trump from his meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer earlier this week, stating that the clip is proof the 47th President can't read.
PROOF trump is completely illiterate, as has been documented many times. First of all, he didn't want to read the letter in the first place. Then acts like he's reading it, but later you can see by the length of the letter, there is NO WAY he read it. Then, makes the official…

During Trump's meeting with Starmer at the White House on Thursday, the Prime Minister presented Trump with a letter from King Charles III.
"Thank you very much," the President responded. "Am I supposed to read it right now?"
Do you think Trump didn't read out the letter from Charlie, because he really can't read ? 🐒💨 pic.twitter.com/NIaop5iJg6

"Yeah, please do," said Starmer, as the crowd within the room erupted into laughter. "I've got to tell him what your reaction is so I need to know."
"Oh, that's, wow," the President stated blankly while looking over the letter. "Well, that is really nice. I must make sure his signature is on that. Otherwise it's not quite as meaningful."
Trump then continued to praise King Charles, handing the letter back over to Starmer and asking the Prime Minister to announce an important point within the letter.
"Perhaps you'd like to say what that very important paragraph says?" Trump said, passing the letter to Starmer.
"This is a letter from his Majesty the King. It's an invitation for a second state visit. This is really special, this has never happened before," Starmer continued.

Users have poked fun at the President for many of his reactions to the letter, including demonstrating an unwillingness to read it right there and then, and passing it back to Starmer to make important announcements regarding the letter's contents.
"His eyes did not move, he did not read it," wrote one user.
"Does anyone think King Charles was 100% aware Trump cannot read and sent the letter and asked the PM to give it to him in front of the cameras so he would squirm?" said a third.
"YOU ELECTED SOMEONE WHO CAN'T REEEEEEEAD," commented a fourth.
The resurgence of jokes surrounding Trump's suspected illiteracy have caused an interview of actor and comedian Pete Davidson to resurface, in which Davidson alleged that then first-time presidential candidate Trump cannot read.
The interview, conducted by Opie Radio, was filmed in 2015, and features Davidson discussing a Saturday Night Live table read during which Trump struggled.
"Okay so he's like, he doesn't really know how to read. For real, yeah. And he loves to improv. So during the table read, before he had to read each line, and he's the host so he's at everything, he would go, 'Uh I'm not going to say this. I think I'm going to say it the way I want to say it. Is that okay?,'" Davidson recalled.
