According to conspiracy theorists, humans could go back in time using unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and stop World War III from happening.
It is claimed that the hypothetical spacecraft could be used to alter the passage of our historical timeline, reported Daily Star.
Since the beginning of the current war in Ukraine, time travel and extraterrestrial enthusiasts have been sharing many wild new theories. The latest one is that UFOs are vessels used by heroic humans from the future who want to pay us a visit. Some academics, who reckon that UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) could actually be humans, have entertained the new theory.
According to Michael Masters, professor of biological anthropology at Montana Technological University, people know they are here, and that they know humans exist. He added that people know that they have had "a long evolutionary history on this planet," and that humans "know our technology is going to be more advanced in the future." He thinks the "simplest explanation, innately, is that it is us (flying UFOs)," and suggested that the craft could be "anthropologists, historians, linguists" coming to our own time. They would time travel to "get information" in a manner not possible with today's technology.
Some claimed that the supposed time travelers are actually heroes trying to save us from ourselves. Commentators Richard Dolan and Ross Coulthart are among those to have talked about the possibility of them being on a mission to prevent World War III. Last year, sceptic Robert Sheaffer branded the idea of UFOs as time travel devices as "highly dubious."
Meanwhile, newly released Pentagon documents revealed that time travel and anti-gravity technology is possible. It could be harnessed by humans to visit other worlds, reported The Sun. The documents were obtained as part of a Freedom of Information request into the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which is the Pentagon's secretive UFO program.
One file was about how to use anti-gravity technology to make spacecraft and planes. It stated that the "effects can be implemented by manipulating spacetime." The report said that looking at different ways of "controlling gravity," it "might be possible to produce exotic phenomena such as faster-than-light travel, and time machines."
