Prince Harry has shown that he’s quite an ideal father. The Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, welcomed their first baby, Archie Harrison, into the world earlier this year.
Very little is known about the child and his parents as the royal couple has maintained a relatively low profile in raising their child. Despite the scarcity of appearances by the royal couple, there are plenty of reasons to believe that Prince Harry is making himself the vision of an ideal father.
He Always Wanted To Be A Father
The Duke of Sussex has always been candid about his dream of being a father. Even prior to meeting his wife, Harry has shared an interview about his longing for a child ever since he was a young boy.
“I’ve longed for kids since I was very, very young,” he said. “I’m waiting to find the right person and someone who’s willing to take on the job.”
Despite knowing this from the onset, he also showed a great deal of patience and rationality about it. He revealed that he was in no rush, and he wanted to take things at a leisurely pace.
“I don’t think you can force these things, you know, it will happen when it’s gonna happen,” the prince stated. “Of course, I would love to have kids right now but, there’s a process that one has to go through.”
He’s A Hands-On Dad
Now that the “process” has gone through and he has met the “right person,” Harry wasted no time in taking on the role of his dreams. With Master Archie out and about, the Duke of Sussex proves that he’s a very capable father. “[He] has been amazing and is a real hands-on coparent,” claims a source close to the couple.
Harry takes time to personally raise his “little boy,” even changing Archie’s diapers and making him burp every once in a while. “[N]othing makes Harry happier than seeing Archie smile,” noted a source. “He’ll spend hours on end making his son laugh.”
He Has A Sweet Bedtime Routine
The Duke of Sussex also has a very sweet nightly routine before Archie goes to bed. He sings a lullaby for the little baby — which is a big deal as Harry is known for being tone deaf.
