Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently showed a united front when they spoke about the struggles of being in the limelight. However, their statements also showed how divisive they are toward the royal family, and it’s causing senior royals to worry.

Earlier this week, Meghan criticized the members of the British monarchy for having a stiff upper lip. She also said that she has not been doing well and not many people have asked her how she’s really doing.

Prince Harry also revealed in the ITV documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey” that he and his brother struggled with some of their differences in the past. But he assured everyone that he and Prince William will always love and support each other.

A source told Mirror UK that the royal family has become concerned for Prince Harry and Meghan. And they also think that their recent breakdown is disheartening.

The insider said that between Prince William and Prince Harry, it also seems as though the latter is the one who’s struggling more. “It seems the boy who walked behind their mother’s coffin, which is so vividly seared onto the nation’s consciousness, has never fully recovered, which is an utter tragedy,” the source said.

Throughout the past couple of months, members of the royal family, particularly Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II, have witnessed how Prince William and Prince Harry have grown apart. And everyone is aware that this isn’t what Princess Diana would have wanted.

Additionally, the royal family is also horrified by the lawsuit that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex filed against various publications. BBC royal correspondent Jonny Dymond said that if the royal couple wins the lawsuit, he doesn’t think that the press would change how they write about the royals because they’re just doing their job.

“Secondly, the monarchy is supposed to be a unifying force in this country, and yet a very significant chunk of it, Harry and Meghan, are being divisive,” he said. “It runs against what the monarchy is doing in these already divisive times,” he added.

While speaking with Daily Mail, royal expert Phil Dampier said that the Queen and the palace courtiers are concerned about the direction that the royal couple is taking. It’s a must that they contemplate their next move while they’re on their six-week break in the United States.
