How Meghan Markle ‘Holds All The Cards’ In Her And Prince Harry’s Marriage

A royal expert has claimed that Meghan Markle has the upper hand in her marriage to Prince Harry, saying that the Duke of Sussex needs his wife more than she needs him. This, according to Andrew Morton, could win over the hearts of people who are still not sure about Meghan.

According to Morton, Meghan has provided Prince Harry the one thing that he has always been desperate for — a family. Speaking on Yahoo’s Royal Box about the birth of the new royal baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the royal expert said Meghan is a source of “stability and the structure” for the prince.

“I was looking at some pictures of Harry when he was about eight years old and he’s cradling a friend’s baby,” he said. “He was always adoring of children and you can see that today,” he added.

Morton noted how Prince Harry has evolved from a little boy who liked children to an adult who is desperate for a family. This void in his life, according to him, is something that only Meghan is capable of filling.

“It’s always been the way that Prince Harry has needed Meghan more than she needed Harry because she’s provided the stability and the structure,” he said, adding that seeing how much happiness the Duchess of Sussex has brought into his life could change the minds of people who still do not like Meghan.

Even before Prince Harry met Meghan, the prince would always talk about his love for kids. Back in 2016, he told the press about his desire to settle down and have children.

“There come times when you think now is the time to settle down, or now is not, whatever way it is, but I don’t think you can force these things; it will happen when it’s going to happen,” he said. “Of course, I would love to have kids right now,” he added.

Meanwhile, another royal expert, Anna Whitelock, warned the royal family against Meghan’s current position. According to Whitelock, Meghan currently holds all the cards in her marriage to Prince Harry.

“Meghan holds all the cards,” she said. “I think Meghan now is in a more powerful position than she has ever been. She’s married to Harry and clearly dotes on her and adores her. She clearly has a great deal of influence over him. She’s now the media darling and now she has a baby,” she continued.
