"Hostages" returns to CBS tonight and we are meeting some of the family! In episode 6 "Sister's Keeper" the hostages are in for a surprise when a surprise house guest shows up on their doorstep. Ellen's sister, Lauren, brings good tidings but has no idea what she's in for during this seemingly routine family visit. Unbeknownst to Lauren, the Sanders are being held hostage by rogue FBI Agent Duncan Carlisle, and her untimely visit is making even more problems for the family. Duncan forces Ellen to get rid of her without making it look suspicious, but how can she possibly quick her sister out inconspicuously? If Ellen fails to get her sister to leave the Sanders residence, will he take action? Could the morally aligned Duncan snap and kill the innocent women to save his own family?
As if Duncan and Ellen needed anymore drama added to their growing confrontation, in "Sister's Keeper" the secret service reaches on to Ellen again! But this isn't a friendly chit-chat, they are calling her in to interrogate her, and with all the chaotic drama, her sister's life in peril and her family still captive, will Ellen be able to fool them? Well, not without Duncan, Ellen attempts to "play it cool" during the phone with the help of Duncan who knows just how to answer their questions.
