According to reports, while watching her kids play soccer out in Brentwood, Calif., Heidi Klum and Martin Kristen were photographed wearing similar, simple-looking bands on their right-hand ring fingers.
The Victoria's Secret beauty proudly donned the diamond-and-gold band while promoting her hair care line, Clean Hair & Scalp Therapy, earlier in the day. At the event, however, the supermodel squashed all marriage rumors.
"This is a ring I got from my boyfriend. It's a present," she told PEOPLE of the band inscribed at least partially with the word "Martin."
Klum recently told People Magazine why she was initially interested in Kristen.
"I love straightforward, ripped, washed-a-hundred-times jeans that just fit really well," she says. "And a cool t-shirt. I don't like a guy when he's overdressed or over-styled. I like it better rugged."
We know the ring isn't on the hand that traditionally indicates a legal bond and Klum is still in the process of divorcing Seal, after all, and has said she has doesn't think she will marry again, but perhaps the matching jewelry is a subtle indicator that both are in it to win it.
By the way, for what it's worth, wedding bands are worn on the right hand in Klum's native Germany.
Klum's rep has not yet responded to requests for comment on the possible significance of her new accessory.
