Happy Birthday America Ferrera: 11 Reasons We Love The Actress And Activist

Former “Ugly Betty” star and longtime Hillary Clinton supporter, America Ferrera, turns 32 today, and to honor her we put together some of the top reasons we love the actress. Check them out:

1. She’s funny: Ferrera charmed us by playing Betty on “Ugly Betty” and we’ve loved her ever since. She was awesome in “Superstore” and we can’t wait to see her in the Netflix original movie, “Special Correspondents.”
2. She does politics: The actress is an activist and has worked hard to show her support for Hillary Clinton since 2008.
3. She’s a feminist: Ferrera has always been very open about the importance of empowering women. She recently attended Tina Brown's 7th Annual Women in the World Summit.
4. She gets involved: America has been very active during this presidential race, and even joined Voto Latino and Fuse on their latest campaign to get Latino millennials involved, “Crash the Parties.”
5. Her sense of fashion: She’s one of those stars we always look forward to seeing on the red carpet, as she always looks stunning.
6. She’s in love and not afraid to show it: Ferrera constantly shares pics of her and her filmmaker hubby Ryan Piers Williams.
