American model Hailey Baldwin has cleared the air on claims that her husband Justin Bieber “mistreats” her, revealing that she's actually grateful and happy in their marriage contrary to popular belief.
The 24-year-old media personality tagged the rumors surrounding her marriage as “big fat narrative” in an interview with singer-songwriter Demi Lovato‘s podcast titled "4D With Demi Lovato," the Independent reported.
“There are so many narratives that float around about me, about him, about us together,” Baldwin said on Friday. “Like, ‘Justin is not nice to her and mistreats her’ and I’m just like, it’s so far from the truth and it’s the complete and utter opposite.”
The Bieber wife went further to say that the "Peaches" singer makes her special every single day and for that, she added she's the lucky one.
“The truth is that we’ve literally never been so obsessed with each other and we have so much fun together,” Baldwin noted.
The “Boyfriend” singer has also been echoing the same sentiments in his interviews and concerts, making it abundantly clear that he and his wife enjoy each other physically, according to the Showbiz CheatSheet.
Since she married Bieber, Hailey has dealt with several rumors claiming that her union with Justin isn’t a happy story amid reports emerging that the Canadian singer has been recurrently verbally abusing his wife in public.
In a video that went viral on TikTok, JB was seen talking with his wife Hailey animatedly, as if he's yelling at her, during a trip to Las Vegas. The Bieber wife would later clarify the issue and say that her husband was just hyped after his performance and was excited to tell Hailey about what he felt back on the stage at the time.
“Reminiscing on how amazing last weekend was,” Hailey shared on Instagram, flaunting a photo of her kissing Justin. “Any other narrative floating around is beyond false. Don’t feed into the negative bulls–t peeps.”
Justin and Hailey, who had been friends since their teenage years, secretly got tied the knot in a courthouse in New York in 2018 after a whirlwind three month engagement. They moved to get married for the second time in a lavish nuptials at Montage Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina in 2019.
Last year, JB released his fifth solo studio album, "Changes," following a five-year hiatus. It came after the success of his documentary series, "Justin Bieber: Seasons."
The docuseries placed the spotlight back on the "Baby" hitmaker as he opened up about his health and past use of marijuana when he was about 13 years old.
Justin would also reveal that he later got involved with alcohol, lean, MDMA, and psychedelic mushrooms that he eventually decided he had to get sober because felt like he was dying after abusing his body with an extreme dosage of these drugs, USA Today noted.
"My security and stuff would come into my room at night to check my pulse," he recalled. "People don't know how serious it got. It was legit crazy scary. I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day."
