Gwyneth Paltrow ushered in her 48th birthday in the unlikeliest way possible -- in the buff!
“The Politician” actress seemed to be in the mood to embrace her true self, sans any frills as she posted the nude snap of herself, on Instagram, while basking in the lap of nature. “In nothing but my birthday suit today” Paltrow captioned the post, while also giving Goop’s latest range a shout out.
Paltrow, who’s loved for her quirks and breezy candor, had her daughter and husband Brad Falchuk comment on the post. Her 16-year-old typed out “MOM” on the post, while her dad penned a special note for his wife.
“This badass is 48 today. She makes pizza from scratch, is never late for cocktail hour, makes looking good annoyingly easy, and never skips an opportunity to put an asshole in his place,” wrote the 49-year-old, as he shared a photo of the star kicked up her heels while relaxing on the couch in loungewear.
Falchuk also squeezed in a friendly reminder to those reading the post – to Vote. “She makes friends feel like family and family feel like friends. Trust me, she’s the best. Happy, happy, happy birthday, Beauty. I love you,” he wrote. “PS - if anyone reading this wants to get Gwyneth something for her birthday, please VOTE! Register your friends to VOTE! Drive people to the polls! She absolutely loves it when you VOTE!!” he added.
Birthday aside, September has always been special for Paltrow and Falchuk. The couple entered wedlock in September about two years ago at her East Hampton home.
While the two have been spending quality time together, this quarantine, they reportedly swear by meditation every morning to keep themselves (emotionally) energized all day.
“In the morning, I meditate. Now every morning I recommitted to my meditation during quarantine because I was very sporadic with it,” said Paltrow in a recent interview. “I do that every morning when I wake up for 20 minutes. My husband just learned [transcendental meditation] as well. So we do it together, which is really nice,” she added.
