New rumors of a Sept. 11 "GTA 5" Patriot Day DLC rumor surfaced earlier this week. No doubt, now would be a very good time for a new "GTA 5" 1.17 update. However, some of us are bidding our time and waiting "GTA 5" to finally arrive for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
We don't know exactly when the next-gen titles will hit the shelves, but according to a leak on the Sony Playstation store, the next-gen "GTA 5" title will be priced at a surprisingly affordable $49.99. While Rockstar did remaster the game to offer a more gorgeous next-gen experience, "GTA 5" is a one-year-old video game. We say the $10 savings is more than reasonable.
However, the "GTA 5" listing on the PS4 Playstation store was promptly taken down when the mistake was discovered. Other games that were listed include "Need for Speed Rivals" ($49.99), "Alien Isolation" (49.99), "DRIVECLUB" ($29.99), "NBA 2K14 ($59.99) and more.
While the price of "GTA 5" for Xbox One and PC have not been confirmed, we expect its prices for PS4 and Xbox One are identical. The price of the PC version is unknown. Unfortunately, the official "GTA 5" next-gen title release date has yet to be determined. What's more, we have yet to confirm whether the new titles will include the long-awaited "GTA 5" Heists DLC.
According to tipsters, select beta testers have already been playing "GTA 5" on PC as early as Sept 6. Finally, International Business Times UK reports that an October 18 release date has also been rumored.
Time will tell whether the "GTA 5" release date rumors are true. For now, stay tuned as we learn more about the "GTA 5" 1.17 update in the days ahead.
