The next-gen "GTA 5" for PS4 and Xbox One arrives in Nov. 18. However, Rockstar Games announced that the "GTA 5" PC edition will not be released until Jan. 27. PC gamers are arguably the most diehard gamers of all, so it's very surprising to see Rockstar bring "GTA 5" to them last.
No doubt, Rockstar's next-gen "GTA 5" PC release date announcement disappointed a lot of people that wanted to play the game this fall. In response to the criticism, Rockstar Games actually responded to the dissatisfaction and took a moment to explain what's going on:
"We're glad to see so many of you are excited for the upcoming release of the new versions of GTA V and we look forward to sharing more details with you soon," said Rockstar Games.
"We are also incredibly excited to be bringing GTA V to the PC, but the game requires a little more development time in order to ensure that it is as amazing and polished as possible. Please do stay tuned as we reveal new features and information about all thenew versions in the weeks ahead."
Details are limited, so we cannot confirm whether the "GTA 5" PC version will be more or less extensive than the work done for the next-gen PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The next-gen "GTA 5" title promises to deliver completely reworked visual enhancements, including a new water rendering system, animal textures, and foliage in the forestry. The new "GTA 5" will be presented in full 1080p HD resolution and deliver incredible draw distances like never before.
