Last week, Rockstar Games issued a press release that confirmed "GTA 5" Heists update will be available on all consoles on March 10. However, Rockstar also announced that the "GTA 5" PC release date has hit another delay and will not be ready until April 14. Obviously, PC gamers are not happy about the two-week delay, especially since current-gen console gamers have already been enjoying "GTA 5" for nearly four months already.
Although the extra delay is difficult to swallow, Rockstar assures that their heart is in the right place. According to the game developer, "GTA 5" for PC will be their best game yet:
"The PC version of Grand Theft Auto V is our most graphically and technically advanced version yet, fully optimized to support a broad range of current hardware (system specifications) and features a host of PC-specific enhancements including greater levels of detail, deep configuration options and ultra-high-definition support – as well as the powerful new Rockstar Editor for recording, staging and editing original custom videos."
But that's not all-- to sweeten the deal for the PC gamers, Rockstar is generously handing out a giant stack of in-game cash for people that pre-ordered "GTA 5" for PC. Everyone that pre-orders the game will receive $1,200,000 of in-game cash. What's more, if you decide to put in your pre-order before March 31, Rockstar will give you an extra bonus $300,000 of in-game cash. That's up to $1,500,000 of in-game cash!
So what does $1,500,000 worth of in-game cash mean for PC players? The highly anticipated "GTA 5" Heists update will be available on the PC edition on the same day as the release date. When Rockstar first released its Heists DLC game trailer back in December, IGN shared a couple details regarding the mechanics of the update. First, the four players must all have a rank of 12 or above. Secondly, one of the members will be appointed heist leader and must own a high-end apartment that accomodates a planning room to set up the heist missions. As the name suggests, high-end apartments are expensive. Thankfully, the $1,500,000 worth of in-game cash will definitely take care of that issue and then some!
Stay tuned as we learn more about the "GTA 5" Heists DLC as well as the "GTA 5" PC release date.
