Rockstar announced that the highly anticipated "GTA 5" Heists for Grand Theft Auto Online is delayed, but we expect the DLC to arrive before the end of the year. We will have to wait for the new update for a little longer, but in the meantime, new rumors regarding the Heists update have surfaced.
Previously, we reported that "GTA 5" Heists update will include eight new GTA Online missions. In fact, according to Youtuber Domislive, the total amount of new missions could reach beyond 30. The new missions for the Heists DLC pack include "Prison Van Rescue," "Drop Off Hooker," "Funeral," "Territory Takeover," "Fight Gangmate," "Cop Territory," "Ornate Bank Heist," and "FIB Grab."
"Prison Van Rescue" involves a classic Cops N Crooks showdown featuring 16 criminals and 16 cops for this epic GTA Online mission. Criminals must intercept an NPC noose van and free a gang member. Cops must stop the prison break before the freed gang member reaches the gang's safe house. Next, "Drop Off Hooker" is a timed mission that requires a player to pick up and drop off all prostitutes within a limited time. Driving skills and a great sense of direction will be useful for this mission. Now, back to the latest rumors. According to the latest from DomisLive, there is new "GTA 5" info that suggests the game will receive the Hydra jet fighter VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) aircraft. The Hydra is a military plane that is based off of the famous Harrier "Jump Jet." Reports have long rumored its appearance in "GTA 5," but were not confirmed until GTA Forums user funmw2 shared a source code leak that details the addition of Hydra (leaked Hydra code here).
In addition, a second GTA 5 vehicle known as the Besra has been revealed. Besra is a new vehicle name in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. That said, a quick Google search reveals that Besra is the name of a bird of prey. No doubt, the Hydra jet and Besra aircraft will be an exciting enhancement to the GTA 5 experience.
The second rumor is a new "Expenses Heist Cost Percentage" game feature. DomisLive says the new mode will not require players to pay-to-play the "GTA 5" Heists DLC. Instead, the mechanics should operate very similarly to "Payday 2: The Heist," which allows players to better prep for a mission by obtaining a little more ammunition and a more intel on the mission. The Heists expensive transactions are totally in-game and do not require real purchases from a gamer's credit card.
The "GTA 5" Heists release date is expected to arrive late summer. Watch the video below to learn more about the latest "GTA V" rumors from DomisLive:
