"GTA 5" tipster Funmw2 continues his aggressive pace of GTA Online Heist DLC updates with another "GTA 5" Heists update leak. This time, it's about characters that will be available on GTA Online after the highly anticipated update.
According to Funmw2, Lester and Jeff will not be the only characters that will be assigning missions to us. In fact, Rockstar has curiously created character models for familiar characters that have only been available as phone contacts during GTA Online. New character models for GTA Online Heist are said to include Trevor, Lester, Chef, Eddie Toh, and Michelle. At this point, we do not have enough information to confirm whether all the characters will be playable, but expect to see them play a role in the upcoming Heist missions as NPC (non-playable character) or otherwise.
Trevor Philips is one of three key protagonists in the singleplayer campaign. No doubt, Trevor will be a significant presence in "GTA 5" Heist as well. Next, Lester is typically the brain to Trevor's brawn in the heist operation. However, the screenshots show Lester handling a sniper rifle. What happens when Lester, who had always preferred to stay in the shadows, finally decides to get his hands dirty?
Where there is Trevor, you can expect the Chef to not be very far behind. When the Chef isn't cooking crystal meth, you can expect that he'll be there to back up Trevor if there's any trouble, especially if it's from the band of thugs from The Lost bike gang.
Another familiar character is Eddie Toh, who was a hired driver during the singleplayer campaign. He will probably be useful when the game requires the heist crew to split and regroup at another location.
Finally, Funmw2 also unearthed a new character named Michelle. Michelle is a familiar name in the GTA universe, as it also belonged to Niko Bellic's girlfriend in GTA 4. According to FunMW2, the new Michelle of "GTA 5" is an FIB agent, which suggests that we should expect an elaborate FIB mission also.
Stay tuned as we learn more about the "GTA 5" Heist update in the days ahead.
