Grey's Anatomy
"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 spoilers, news and trailers. ABC

The first trailer for season 12 of "Grey's Anatomy" has been revealed and in it a voice over of protagonist Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) reveals "everything has changed" and indeed it has.

In the new video we get our first glimpse of what Meredith's life will look like post Derek Shepherd's (Patrick Dempsey) death. Namely, her homelife where we see one of her new roommates taking a sledgehammer to the wall. Even more shocking is seeing newcoming Maggie (Kelly McCreary) punch a woman in the face in the hospital! We're dying to know what happened between the two to make her resort to such violence.

The season will take place three months after the events of the last season finale, "You're My Home," in which Richard (James Pickens Jr.) and Catherine (Debbie Allen) got married. April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson's (Jesse Williams) relationship has hit the rocks after April has resumed her work overseas in Jordan, leaving Jackson high and dry once again. Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) will have new romances.

Season 12 of "Grey's Anatomy" will premiere with the episode "Sledgehammer" Sept. 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC. Until then check out the brand new trailer below:
