Looks like we will be seeing more of Amelia Shepherd on "Grey's Anatomy." It has been revealed Caterina Scorsone, who plays the other Dr. Shepherd, will have a more permanent role in season 11 of the hit-medical drama as the actor will become a series regular.

Scorsone did 60 episodes on the Grey's spin-off "Private Practice" and has appeared in half a dozen as a guest star on "Grey's Anatomy." Her other TV roles include "1-800-Missing," "Crash" and "Goosebumps."

Aside from Sandra Oh "Grey's Anatomy" also lost Tessa Ferrer who played Leah and Gaius Charles who played Shane. Both actors started out as interns in season nine, became residents in season 10 and will not return as series regulars for season 11. Both Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey signed new contracts back in January keeping them with the series through season 12. Around the same time ABC's president, Paul Lee, indicated that the doctors of the medical drama will remain on the show for "many years to come."

ABC's 2014 lineup has given Shonda Rhimes an entire day! Starting this fall Thursday's we will see "Grey's Anatomy" at 8 p.m., "Scandal" at 9 p.m. and her newest series "How to Get Away With Murder" starring Viola Davis.
