Last month, online retailer Newegg first posted a listing of Gran Turismo 6 for early pre-order. The online listing was complete with a November 28, 2013 release date and confirmation that the title will remain on the outgoing PS3 console.

The box art of "Gran Turismo" through "Gran Turismo 5" are as follows:
While the authenticity of the Gran Turismo 6 box art is still up for debate, at least two online retailers have announced a November 2013 Gran Turismo 6 release date, further confirming the holiday availability of the highly anticipated video game.
Not much else is known about the game, though Motor Authority reports that a pair of unique muscle cars will be among the lineup of cars offered. A 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 40 custom as well as a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro won a very special contest when game creator Kazunori Yamauchi hand-picked the two machines at SEMA to be added into Gran Turismo 6. In addition, the one-off Ferrari P4/5 owned by James Glickenhaus is claimed to be featured in the video game as well.
Stay tuned as we await an official Gran Turismo 6 release date announcement in the months ahead. In the meantime, be sure to watch the ending credits from "Gran Turismo 4" to remember what makes the racing sim franchise so inspiring:
