Filming of “The Good Doctor” Season 3 is currently ongoing near Vancouver Community College. A picture from the production set has surfaced online, showing Dr. Shaun (Freddie Highmore) sitting on a familiar bench.

A picture of Highmore sitting with fellow cast member Christina Chang in full costume has surfaced on the Twitter page of YVR Shoots. The two actors are sitting on what has been described as the “go-to bench” of the show, filming Season 3.

Chang is reprising her role as Chief of Surgery Dr. Audrey Lim. She and Highmore seem to be filming an intense and highly emotional scene in the picture that has surfaced online.

The production is taking place outside the east Broadway campus of Vancouver Community College, Hollywood North Buzz reported. The filming has been ongoing for about two months.

A video from the first day on the production set was posted on the official Twitter page of the TV series on June 20. The cast members confirmed that they have begun filming “The Good Doctor” Season 3, and there haven’t been any problems in the production.

The show is expected to pick up right from where they left off in the Season 2 finale. The last time the fans saw Dr. Shaun, there were problems between him and Dr. Jackson Han (Daniel Dae Kim), with the latter firing the good doctor at one point.

Dr. Han is no longer the Chief of Surgery at St. Bonaventure, which means Dr. Shaun can go back to doing what he loves. As an added bonus, there is a possibility of some romance for the lead character.

“The Good Doctor” Season 3 will explore the date that he went on in Season 2. A teaser trailer showed how everyone at the hospital is curious to know how that relationship is developing, and the fans too will find out when the show returns on Sept. 23 on ABC.
