'The Good Doctor' Season 3: Shaun May Find Love

Love may be in the air for "The Good Doctor."

The promo of “The Good Doctor” Season 3 that was recently released teases the possibility of Shaun (Freddie Highmore) finding love. The scene is a date between Shaun and Carly (Jasika Nicole), and the fans will now find out how the two of them spent that evening.

In Season 2, Shaun went to Carly’s house with chocolates and flowers and asked her to go to dinner with him. A preview of Season 3 has confirmed that the show will pick up from that same night of the two doctors going out on a date.

Did the date go well? All the characters on the show want to know about it. Based from the teaser, it appears that the two did form a connection, but that remains to be seen. The teaser asked the question - will Shuan find love? The fans will have to wait and watch to find out.

Carly is a regular on the show now, and that means that the fans will get to see more of her in “The Good Doctor” Season 3. Whether this will be in the form of a developing relationship between the two doctors or as an awkward friendship after a date that goes bad, the fans will find out right in the premiere episode.

Along with the expected romance between Shaun and Carly there are some surprises in store for the fans. Sheila Kelly, who will be reprising her role as Debbie Wexler, teased on Twitter that an important character is coming back. She held the script of the next season in her hands and a surprised expression on her face. She added that she can’t wait for the show to return.

“The Good Doctor” Season 3 will air on Sept. 23. In the meantime, fans can watch Season 2 that has been released on DVD and Digital. The release includes bonus content like deleted scenes and more.
