Golden Corral certainly has some explaining to do, one of the chain restaurant's employee uploaded a video to Youtube entitled "All You Can Eat Ribs" which shows pounds of raw meat and other food items left outside near a dumpster. Even more nauseating, the employee in the video said the food would be brought back inside to be served to customers.

Golden Corral says it has fired the manager of the restaurant after an employee exposed some truly stomach-churning food storage practices. According to Eric Holm, who owns the Golden Corral where the video was filmed, the manager involved in the improper food storage was terminated for not following proper food-handling procedures.

In a statement, Holm also assured patrons that none of the food shown in the video was served to customers, although we are not so sure. The video displaying the meat stored outside near the dumpster was uploaded to Youtube on July 1, and Holm only made a statement regarding the unsanitary food storage on July 8.

The disturbing and revealing video was filmed by Golden Corral employee, Brandon Huber, who was employed at a Golden Corral in Port Orange, Florida. His expose video shows an array of food, raw hamburger patties, raw baby back ribs, pot roast meat, chicken, bacon slices, a green bean casserole and a large hotel pan full of gravy, all stored next to an outdoor dumpster. More disgusting still, black flies appear near some of the meat.

Huber went on to explain that he had been employed at the restaurant for a long time and that the restaurant was hiding the food in the dumpster while it underwent a health inspection. The employee also states that he just "doesn't think this is right."

Meat that is stored at temperatures warmer than 40 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours or more can carry bacteria and cause foodborne illnesses, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Bacteria growth can double every 20 minutes that food is left at room temperature, the agency notes.

Huber who identifies himself as a cook says that he "doesn't want to cook with it" because frankly he states "he doesn't feel safe with." Shockingly, Huber also tells the camera that following the inspection the food will be put back in the cooler.
