A former Alaska Airlines flight attendant who filmed herself twerking in uniform is turning to crowdfunding after the viral video cost her the job.

Nelle Diala, who had been with the airline for just over six months, was terminated for violating the company's social media policy following the release of a 20-second video of her dancing in uniform on an otherwise empty plane.

The clip was filmed early in the morning between flights. Delia was celebrating the end of her probationary period on the job. "Ghetto Till I Die, Don't Let the Uniform Fool You," she wrote in the caption. The video quickly went viral on TikTok, sparking backlash from viewers who called her behavior unprofessional, as reported by View From the Wing.

Diala claimed that Alaska Airlines terminated her without giving her the chance to explain herself. She reposted the video with a new caption: "Can't even be yourself anymore without the world being so sensitive. What's wrong with a little twerk before work?"

Now, Diala is seeking $12,000 through GoFundMe to stay afloat financially and support her lingerie business, operated under the handle @figure8.lingerie.

In her fundraising plea, Diala expressed regret for the video but maintained that it was harmless. "I've always been careful about what I post, and I never thought this video would cost me my career," she wrote.
