Clara and Piqué

Former Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía, the woman at the center of his highly publicized split from Colombian artist Shakira, have reportedly ended their relationship after nearly three years together.

According to a report from the gossip show 'Vamos a Ver' on the Spanish television network Telecinco , Clara and Piqué are no longer together.

"The couple that broke up is Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía. Although I'm hearing from third parties, I'm investigating the reasons, but it's still not clear," said panelist Adriana Dorronsoro after speaking with the former couple's closest associates.

"I'm not surprised because I know they had a crisis because she wanted to move forward in the relationship, be a mother and all that, but he was still somewhat wary," added her teammate Pepe del Real.

The news generated euphoria among La Loba's fans, who have defended their star tooth and nail since it was revealed that the end of her decade-long relationship with Piqué was the result of infidelity.

"We want a collaboration between the two of them destroying Piqué," said one user.

"What starts badly ends badly," said another.

In August 2022, it became known that the bone of contention was Spanish woman Clara Chía, who at the time was 22 years old and was part of the team at the Cosmos company, owned by Piqué, which specializes in the development and marketing of sporting events.

Despite multiple press reports and paparazzi photos and videos, the strongest confirmation came from Shakira herself in her song with Bizarrap, in which she expresses: "She has the name of a good person, CLEARLY she is not what she sounds like."

Another infidelity scandal?

The news of Piqué and Clara's split comes weeks after the Miami press captured the former soccer player in close contact with a redheaded woman. The former athlete spends long periods of time in South Florida caring for his children, especially during the two months Shakira toured Latin America with her "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" tour.

The only one not celebrating is Spanish paparazzi Jordi Martín, who has been very close to Shakira's entourage since he published the first photo featuring the face of Piqué's lover, Clara Chía. The "El Gordo y La Flaca" contributor claims the news is a lie.

Now we have to wait to see if Piqué is single or not, but what is always certain is that if there is a sound in the river, there will be stones.
