Yes, “Game of Thrones” excruciatingly riveting Season 5 has come to a brutal end, so we are only left with speculations and theories to hold us over for an entire year! Did we mention that’s 12 months? Yeah, pretty brutal. So, we know Bran Stark is coming back next season since we didn’t get to see what fate has in store for him during this one. But what about the others? What’s going to happen to Arya and Sansa Stark? Is Daenerys doomed or is she the chosen one with the Lord Commander?
The site Watchers on the Wall got their hands on certain casting news that could hint to new and complementing storylines. The casting calls have super specific requirements which might hint as to where these new characters might play in. It looks as though the Dothrakis are getting new members, which is good news for Daenerys; And if we’re onto anything, it looks like the Septum will face some fatal turmoil next season. Check out the new additions and judge for yourself:
Qhogo and Akrat: they’re basically looking for “mixed ethnicity or other non-white actors.” They’re supposed to be tall and confident, as they will be acting in another language. Sites verdict: Dothraki warriors.
Lachlan and Flynn: “He’s the big leader of a group of renegades who have turned on the land that they swore to protect,” is the description for Lachlan. And similarly the description for Fynn is also for two episodes and says, “Part of an outlaw band. The group is using religion to justify terrorizing and extorting.” Our verdict: Is King Landing’s Septum going to be defeated by rebels?
Lord of Northern Stronghold: The casting calls for “an actor in his late thirties or forties to play another lord, one that’s ruthless and calculating. The frightening lord rules a vassal household with a castle stronghold.” Our verdict: Will this Lord finally end Ramsay Bolton (previously Snow)? We sure hope so!
Lord of Noble Northern House: The character is described as “a massive bear of a man with a beard and temper to match, and hatred that run deep, and he can be violent.” The show also needs the actor to “tower over the rest of the cast” and have a Northern English accent. “The lord is a savage warrior, and he rules a distinguished house in the very far North, and the role is said to be an impactful one,” explains the site. Our verdict: This character has a very important mission and will accomplish it in only two epsiodes.
