"Game of Thrones" season 3 has been the most exciting and suspenseful season yet. We have seen a lot of deaths and there are more to come. Let's recap who has died and non-book readers beware; I will let you know is also going to meet their maker in season 3 of "Game of Thrones."

The major deaths that have already occurred are:

Lord Hoster Tully of Riverrun- Catelyn Tully Stark's father dies in episode 3 "Walk of Punishment." This leaves Catelyn's younger brother, Edmure Tully, as Lord of Riverrun. Another dead is Lord Commander Jorah Mormont. The Old-Bear was killed in episode 4, "And Now His Watch Has Ended," during a Night's Watch mutiny at Craster's Keep. Cratser was also killed in this mutiny after giving too little food and comfort to the men of the Night's Watch.

As for the deaths that are still to come in season 3, Balon Greyjoy will die. Lord of the Iron islands is killed while crossing a bridge during a storm; this leaves the Seastone Chair open for grabs as there are many potential heirs to the Iron Islands of Pyke.

More deaths will come in season 3, most likely in the season finale and they are shocking. King Robb Stark and Catelyn Stark will be murdered by the Freys at the "Red Wedding." The "Red Wedding" is special name given to the wedding massacre at the Frey's stronghold, during the wedding of Edmure Tully to Roslin Frey. Robb is killed along with his direwolf Grey Wind. In a despicable act of dishonor, Robb's head is sewn on to the body of Grey Wind, and the direwolf's head is sewn in its place. Catelyn Stark is killed when one of the Frey men slit her throat, as to mock the burial surface of the Tullys, The Frey men strip Cat naked and throw her in the Trident River.

While no one will be sad when this death finally occurs but The Hound is left for dead by Arya while they are traveling in the Saltpans.

The last death I am expecting to occur during season 3 is poor Ygritte. I love Jon Snow and Ygritte together, her death is tragic. She is killed when the wildlings attack The Wall. Jon doesn't kill her, but he is fighting on the side of the Night's Watch against Ygritte and her free folk.

There are other deaths that occur in "A Storm of Swords" but I don't think that they will be able to get to all of the action and storylines leading up the multiple deaths by the end of season 3. It seems more likely that season 4 will be the second half of "A Storm of Swords."
