'Game Of Thrones' Season 3 Spoilers: Meet 10 New Characters Here

"Game of Thrones" fans rejoice because while most are preparing for Easter Sunday, I am preparing for "Game of Thrones" Sunday. We are a mere six days away from the highly anticipated premiere of Season 3. As the War of Five Kings continues to rage through the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, we will be introduced to a host of new characters and high-born houses.

To help aide your wait along these six longs days, here are 10 new characters for Season 3 that are going to prove to be fast learners in this treacherous game of thrones.

Let's start with a high-born house that we already know, House Tully. Our favorite matriarch Catelyn Stark is a part of House Tully and in Season 3 we meet two more members of House Tully.

Bryndon Tully. Catelyn Stark's uncle is known as "The Blackfish." He is a fearsome knight. While being estranged from his older brother, Lord Hoster Tully (Catelyn's father), due to constant quarrels; he is still an integral part of House Tully. After releasing Jamie Lannister in return for her daughters, her uncle is the only one who shows our dear Cat affection and understands her grief.

Another member of House Tully is Catelyn's younger brother Edmure Tully. Catelyn Stark's younger brother has recently become Lord of Riverrun in the wake of his father's death. While he has a deep love for his sister, he is a Lord now and keeps his emotions at check while Lady Stark and Robb are at Riverrun.

Another high-born house we encountered in seasons one and two is House Baratheon. During Season 3, we meet Selyse Baratheon. Selyse is Stannis Baratheon's estranged wife. She spends much of her life in seclusion, shut away in a gloomy tower at Dragonstone. In Season 3, we see her emergence as her loyalty to Melisandre and her exotic Lord of Light, R'hllor, grows.

Another Baratheon introduced in season three is Stannis and Selyse's daughter, Shireen Baratheon. Shireen is Stannis Baratheon and Selyse Florent's only child. When she was an infant, she suffered from an infection called greyscale. The disease, which almost killed her, left the left portion of her cheek and neck dead, mottled grey and unsightly.

Season three introduces House Reed. House Reed from Greywater Watch rules the crannogmen, small men who live in swamps and marshes from the Neck. They swore their fealty to the Starks thousands of years ago. From House Reed, comes Meera Reed. She is the eldest daughter of Howland Reed and a Stark loyalist, Meera seeks out Bran Stark to protect him on his journey north. She is a capable hunter and brave.

Jojen Reed her brother also accompanies Bran on this journey. Jojen is mysterious and possess the ability of "green sight." "Green sight" is the ability to have prophetic dreams called "green dreams."

We knew of House Tyrell in season two because of Ser Loras and Queen Margaery but in Season 3, we meet Lady Olenna Tyrell. The grandmother of Margaery and Loras Tyrell, Lady Olenna is the matriarch of the family of Highgarden, she is outspoken and cunning. Her relentless actions earn her the nickname as "The Queen of Thorns."

While they are no high born lords or ladies, the Wildlings have a system of hierarchy all their own. Tormund Giantsbane, is an infamous Wildling warrior, he also serves as chief lieutenant of Mance Rayder, "the King Beyond the Wall."

Another Wildling we will meet this season is Orell. Orell is a "skin changer." He possesses the ability to enter the minds of animals and becomes one with the animal's body. We will witness him change into an eagle.

Finally our tenth new character is Missandei. Missandei originally comes from the peaceful island of Naath, she was sold into slavery as a child. She now finds herself in the city of Astapor as a translator for the slave trader Kraznys. Missandei crosses path with our fearsome Daenerys Targaryen.
