‘Game Of Thrones’ Quotes: Best Lines From Season 4 Episode 5 ‘First of His Name’

“Game of Thrones” premiered its fifth episode of Season 4 last night; the episode marked the half waypoint of the current season as well as crowning a new King of Westeros. The episode, aptly entitled “First of Has Name” featured the coronation of Tommen Baratheon, the younger brother of the recently deceased Joffrey Baratheon. Fans were also treated to a near Stark family reunion, and despite the disappointment that Jon Snow never saw his brother, Bran did escape with both the Reeds and Hodor.

Of course Bran’s escape didn’t come easy, Locke attempted to kidnap the Stark boy right from under Jon’s nose, however Roose Bolton’s accomplice didn’t know that Bran had the ability to warg and seriously underestimated Hodor’s strength. Bran wargged into the body of his giant protector, and easily snapped Locke’s neck before returning back to his cripple body and attempting to get his older brother Jon’s attention. Soon Jojen returned and reminded Bran, that if Jon and him reunite, he will never find the three-eyed raven. The group decided to continue North, however Jon Snow did have some sort of a family reunion, his direwolf Ghost returned much to his delight.

The Starks weren’t the only ones desiring a family reunion, in a tension filled conversation between Cersei and Oberyn Martell; the normally hard faced Queen of Westeros seemingly let her guard down. Discussing her daughter Myrcella, who is living in Dorne, Cersei proved she is still capable of love and affection. The dialogue in this episode was not only very symbolic, but vital to the rest of the unfolding plot in Season 4.
