The local Sheriff in charge of the Florida county where former President Donald Trump was targeted by another would-be assassin says a "million dollar" question has yet to be answered.

Martin County Sheriff Will Snyder said the burning question regarding Donald Trump's second attempted assassination is how the shooter knew Trump's location.

During an interview on Fox & Friends, Ainsley Earhardt asked Snyder, "How did [the shooter] know Donald Trump would be playing golf? How did he have access to his schedule?"

"That's the million-dollar question," replied Martin County Sheriff Will Snyder.

Snyder stated his department does not "have intel from the scene" in Palm Beach where the attempted assassination occurred. "It's hard for me to imagine how he got into rifle-range of President Trump," Snyder added.

Multiple outlets identified Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, as the suspect in the second attempted shooting. It occurred at the Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The latest shooting comes two months after Trump reportedly suffered a graze gunshot wound to his ear during an attempted assassination at a rally in Pennsylvania.

The second shooting, however, was thwarted before a shot could be fired at the former President.
