A heartwarming collaboration between a TikToker and a YouTuber has turned into an overnight sensation, changing the life of a fisherman and content creator known as "Oh Dad!"

Bill, the man behind the YouTube channel Fishing with Oh Dad!, was stunned to see his subscriber count skyrocket after TikTok user 'PudgyKindness' posted a video urging followers to support his channel. Before the post, Bill's channel, dedicated to fishing adventures and showcasing his gear, had a modest following of just over 1,300 subscribers.

The TikTok clip, which went viral on Nov. 21, highlighted Bill's passion for fishing and his resilience after a life-threatening fall. The video shared how he survived a harrowing accident where he fell off a roof, breaking multiple ribs, both wrists, and a vertebrae. After recovering, Bill resumed creating videos, though they garnered little attention over the years.

"This old man who was making videos to no viewers...Can we change his life?" the video's caption asked TikTok. The post exploded with over 65 million views and 64,000 comments, inspiring viewers to flood Bill's YouTube channel with support.

By the next day, Bill had surpassed 200,000 subscribers and shared an emotional video thanking his new fans for what he called an "overnight miracle."

"It's gone basically nowhere," Bill said about his YouTube channel over the years. "I thought about ending it... but everything's changed."

Fast forward a week, and Bill's channel boasts more than 1.32 million subscribers and over 2.6 million views on his videos.
