Man Of Steel Sequel

Although the news of Ben Affleck being cast as Batman in the "Man of Steel" sequel directed by filmmaker Zack Snyder didn't please the audiences, newest reports that "Breaking Bad" actor Bryan Cranston will play Lex Luthor have calmed the waters down. Although Cranston's addition to the franchise hasn't been confirmed by him, his reps or the studio, Cosmic Book News cited a source that said the official announcement is going to follow the conclusion of the final season of "Breaking Bad" in Sept. 29 on AMC.

Having Henry Cavill playing Superman hasn't been an issue either for DC Comics fans, although the first movie had very mixed reviews of his abilities as the man of steel. Nevertheless, the studio seems very positive with partnering up Cavill and Affleck (and probably Cranston if the rumors turn out to be true) and even director Snyder can't wait to start working with the two (possibly three) actors. "Ben provides an interesting counterbalance to Henry's Superman," Snyder said. "He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne. I can't wait to work with him."

Although no official comments about Cranston have been made yet, we can start speculating after taking a look at a fan video made by YouTube user Soylent Brak 1, who very skillfully put together scenes from Cranston's filmography, together with the work of Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and even Ben Affleck, giving us a fake trailer of the "Man of Steel" sequel that makes Affleck look like a decent choice to play Bruce Wayne.
