During the 2015 PlayStation Experience this past weekend, gamers were treated to the first gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated remake "Final Fantasy VII." Back in June at E3 fans were shown the first fleeting glimpse of the "Final Fantasy VII" remake but only from a theatrical point of view. Now we have seen what the action will actually look like in-game. Inevitably, the title looks very similar to Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV," which is expected next year.
In the trailer fans will see a cleaner, higher resolution Cloud Strife, Barret Wallace and of course higher resolution environmental surrounding. You'll also notice voice acting. Furthermore, according to The Verge the game is taking visual cues from "Advent Children" and as previously stated the games battle system will be revamped.
The show was packed with tons of trailers for upcoming titles. Some of the highlights include Epic Games first MOBA "Paragon," Level-5 and Studio Ghibli "Ni No Kunk II," more than a few titles for the PlayStation VR, "Yakuza 0" and an all-new theatrical trailer for "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."
As of now it is not clear when "Final Fantasy VII" will be delivered, but the trailer certainly looks promising. Check it out below:
