More details regarding the highly anticipated title "Final Fantasy XV" have been revealed. The first big reveal is the possibility of an online feature. GamingBolt reports that Square Enix is hiring staff for a possible PC spin off for "FFXV."
The company previously said they were looking to hire an "online game planner," and now it seems they are on the search for an applicant that will be able to work on "game content using the Network," which obviously points to online features for "FFXV." The company is also looking to fill a position for lighting design with experience in "high-end CG movies."
They are also searching for a system programmer to help with console optimization. They want some to "help optimize the game via multi-threading, file I/O, memory and streamlining." This simply means they want to get the most out of both the Xbox One and PS4.
Many fans have expressed concerns over the fact that Square Enix is still hiring at this point in development. However it is not uncommon for new staff to come on board and polish up the game last minute to add finishing touches and more.
The good news is "Final Fantasy XV" Episode Duscae is almost complete at 80 percent production. Lead Game Designer, Wan Hazmer, said that the upcoming playable Demo of "Final Fantasy XV," Episode Duscae, is almost complete, according to Nova Crystallis.
"The last 20% is crucial" said the Final Fantasy XV Lead Game Designer calling it "hell on earth" and only the "optimization, polishing and debugging," remains before it can be fully launched. He also plead to the fans to test the demo well which will be an open world with a fast paced action battle system. He further added that "feedback is crucial towards the success of this new numbered 'Final Fantasy'."
"Final Fantasy XV" Episode Duscae will be made available to gamers who pre-ordered "Final Fantasy Type-0" or during its initial release edition. While Final Fantasy Type-0 is set to be released on March 17 for Xbox One and PS4, Square Enix still hasn't released an official statement on the launching date for "Final Fantasy XV."
