EA Sports is constantly coming up with new ways to enhance the game play of each one of their products and with the newest line of sports video games including Madden NFL 25 and NHL 14 set to release, the company is surely headed in the right direction as gamers continue to purchase the latest games.
One of the most popular sports games on the market each and every year is EA's soccer game FIFA. With the 2014 edition set to release in September of 2014, the anticipation heightens once again as the world's best players, teams and venues will be featured as FIFA 14 hopes to be the best yet.
Recently attending the EA Sports Showcase at New York City's Motivo, Latin Times had the opportunity to speak with FIFA 14 Producer Santiago Jaramillo about some of the upgrades producers and designers implemented into the popular video game series.
When the new game is finally released for public purchase, gamers will certainly enjoy the added level of control they'll have over their players since Santiago Jaramillo and the development team made it a priority to have the players in the game mirror their real-life skill sets.
"A player will no longer look robotic while shooting because we put a real emphasis on bringing about a real feel and look to the game," Jaramillo told Latin Times. "Shooting, dribbling and the overall movement of players will be just like it is in an actual professional match."

The addition of what FIFA 14 developers are calling Pure Shot was installed to help elevate the balance and accuracy of shot attempts in the game as well, something that will benefit each gamer since taking shots from near the midfield line will no longer find their way between the pipes!
"The Pure Shot element now makes it so players must be in the proper position to get a good shot on goal," Jaramillo said. "You won't be able to be facing a completely different direction and expect the shot to somehow go in the net."
While the improvement of the players and shot technique was a major focus for the development team during the reconstruction and upgrading of the game, Santiago Jaramillo also noted that creating a ball that played the way an actual soccer ball does was another important feature.
"We wanted this game to be as close to reality as possible, so in addition to upgrading player movement and skills, we crafted a dynamic and authentic ball based on real-life data," he said.
"How the ball spins, bounces and turns with precision kicking was all taken into account when developing the perfect ball to go along with the games best players."
FIFA 14 is set to release on September 24th, 2013 in North America and Worldwide on September 27th.
