Each and every year Electronic Arts creates some of the highest-quality and increasingly popular games on the market. Thanks to the tireless work of producers and creative design members at EA Sports, the company also enjoys a high level of success in the sports gaming world since many gamers enjoy playing their favorite sports with their favorite teams. Whether you're a fan of the 'Madden' series, 'NCAA Football' chain or the uber-popular 'FIFA' set, EA Sports continues to improve each high-selling product on a yearly basis.

Recently making the demo available for gamers everywhere to sample, EA Sports and its fans were eagerly awaiting the official launch date of 'FIFA 14,' a soccer game featuring the best teams, clubs and venues in the entire international spectrum of soccer. Whether you're a fan of Manchester United, Bayern Munich or the New York Red Bulls, 'FIFA 14' offers each gamer the ability to simulate what it's like to be a real-life soccer player, bringing to life the on-field routines of the greatest players in the game while mimicking what the atmosphere at some of the top stadiums in the world is like.

At the recent 'FIFA 14' launch party in New York City, Latin Times had the opportunity to speak with New York Red Bulls goalie Luis Robles, a highly successful soccer star currently guiding the MLS squad to a first place league standing. Along with discussing what he likes most about each 'FIFA' soccer game both past and present, Robles also talked about the success of the Red Bulls and the state of USA soccer on an international scale.

Robles and the Red Bulls currently hold a three-point advantage over Sporting Kansas City for the top spot in the Eastern Conference and a one-point lead over the Seattle Sounders for the top overall spot in the MLS. Asked whether or not he felt the MLS is improving as a league as far as talent is concerned, Luis Robles told Latin Times that the league is certainly growing but right now he's really focused on helping his squad land a spot in the MLS postseason.

"Ultimately, we've seen an increase in the talent level in what truly is a great league all around," Robles said. "Right now though, yes the Red Bulls have had a great season but with a big match coming up Sunday against Seattle, we know we need to stay focused if we want to advance to the playoffs. We know the crowd at CenturyLink Field is going to be great so hopefully we can come out, play hard, and get out of their with a win."

Robles, who was a member of the US National team in 2009, also commented on the state of USA soccer. Recently clinching a spot in the 2014 World Cup, the United States Men's National team is certainly capable of playing at a high level even though recent World Cup's haven't been kind to the Americans.

"Everyone wants to think 'Can we win the World Cup?' but that may not be the best thought process," Robles said. "Qualifying was great but getting out of your group like we did in 2002 and 2010 can really jumpstart your confidence. National attention will come from success at the World Cup and we will certainly need to be on point in order to do that. Obviously, the success the USMNT has in the World Cup will bring added attention to the MLS and that's exactly what we want."

The Red Bulls goalie also spoke about the latest EA Sports game that promises to be one of the best in a long line of successful games released by the company. Playing the game with his college friends, Robles touched on the fact that the gameplay in 'FIFA 14' is tremendous and despite the fact that he hasn't had the chance to really sit down and play the game yet, each person he spoke with about the game has raved about the gameplay.

"My friends tell me the gameplay for 'FIFA 14' is tremendous," Robles said. "I really haven't played the game a ton since college but in looking around here tonight at the different setups and watching people play, the gameplay looks absolutely phenomenal and I'm looking forward to finally getting a chance to play the game my old college buddies used to pound me in."

Robles also said that when he did play the game he enjoyed playing with Barclays Premier League affiliate Arsenal, especially since one of his current teammates used to play for the club.

"I used to play with Arsenal before I retired from playing the game because of the talent the team had," Robles said. "Looking back, it's funny because now I find it almost surreal to be playing alongside Thierry Henry because when I played FIFA as Arsenal before he left in 2007, I was playing as him."

'FIFA 14' was officially released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 on Tuesday, September 24. The official worldwide launch will come on September 27.
