EA Sports remains a popular gaming company for the simple fact that each and every season the sports gaming powerhouse releases some of the most popular games on the market. Whether you're a fan of professional soccer, pro and college football or even hockey, EA Sports offers games that appeal to many levels of sports fans on a consistent basis. The inclusion of phenomenal graphics and some of the best athletes in collegiate and professional sports, Electronic Arts provides users extreme entertainment every year.
Recently releasing popular games including 'Madden NFL 25,' 'NCAA Football 14,' 'NHL 14,' and 'FIFA 14,' EA Sports hopes that these long-running games find success on the market once again. Despite the fact that the games continue to sell, 'Madden NFL 25' continues to experience freezing issues and even though the release of the highly anticipated 'FIFA 14' was successful, multiple users are reporting that the soccer game is now experiencing unfortunate freezing issues similar to the Madden NFL football game.
EA Sports issued a title update for 'FIFA 14' during the early part of Wednesday, September 25 to simplify and correct some of the issues affecting the areas of Skill Games, Creation Centre and some of the more intricate details of the game including the following:
- The effectiveness of headers from corner kicks and crosses.
- Effectiveness of finesse shots.
- Accuracy of lofted through-balls.
Each correction will certainly help the game moving forward but these issues weren't the ones that bothered the gamers that paid good money for the most popular game EA Sports releases on a yearly basis. Also indicating that they are aware of some freezing issues found in the game, EA higher-ups are working to correct any and all issues so that gamers everywhere can enjoy the game on a regular basis without any faulty problems getting in the way.
"We're aware that some users are experiencing freezes during the game. We continue to investigate these reports internally, and with our partners, and will update the community when we know more."
While there is no timetable for when these in-game freezing issues will be corrected, EA Sports would like its gamers to provide them with any useful information so that they'll be able to quickly rectify the annoying and unexpected problems.

The company also asks that gamers provide them with the following useful information:
- Console (year of manufacture)
- HDD size
- Online/Offline
- 100% Reproducible?
In an attempt to ease the anger of 'FIFA' gamers, the website Ultimate FIFA issued a temporary fix for the freezing hassles.
Step 1 - Turn on game and go to CUSTOMIZE the ONLINE Settings
Step 2 - From there, go to PRIVACY SETTINGS and uncheck where it says 'connect to your club in real life by sharing your account information and EAS FC progress subject to the club's privacy policy.'
These steps will disable the EA servers from the game, the source where many gamers believe the initial problems lie.
