The highly anticipated release of 'FIFA 14' is approaching, leaving video game enthusiasts excited about the latest edition in a long and successful line of soccer games. Electronic Arts continues to develop some of the best products every year and with the latest EA Sports gems including 'Madden NFL 25' and 'NCAA Football 14' already enjoying success on the open market, there is no reason to think 'FIFA 14' won't be able to succeed once it is officially out across the globe on September 27. The game will also hit stores on September 24 in North America.
With the release date a mere 2 weeks away, EA Sports announced that the demo for 'FIFA 14' is now available for download on PS3, Xbox 360 Gold and for the PC. While the full features won't be fully accessible until the official launching of the game, EA Sports has included 8 top-level teams gamers can choose from while enjoying the demo. Bundesliga giant Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, La Liga power Barcelona, Boca Juniors, Tottenham, Manchester City and the New York Red Bulls of the MLS will all be usable each time the demo is played.
The PC version of the 'FIFA 14' demo was released on the evening of September 9. Users were able to access the preview via EA's Origin service. Particulars of the demo include a non-adjustable time format of three-minute halves. Game speed, weather, difficulty and camera angles can be adjusted according to user preference while gameplay sliders can also be altered to personal appeal. Difficulty modes include amateur, semi-pro, professional, world class and legendary while game speeds include tempos of slow, normal and fast.
Popular inclusions for this year's game that will certainly garner attention from those who play the demo will be the Pure Shot feature and the Real Ball Physics creation.
Pure Shot now allows players to get in great position to take passes while setting them up for realistic shots. This simply means that a player in the game will not look robotic while passing or shooting and there won't be the ability to score a goal from 70 yards away like there was in previous versions of the game.
Real Ball Physics is a true genius addition by the producers and creative directors at EA Sports. Players will now be able to strike the ball with powerful force but customizable shots based around the overall skill of the player will also add to the gameplay. Wind during a particular game or divots on the surface will also come into effect, creating a truly realistic experience for all those playing the game.
Important Note
The rosters of the eight teams included in the demo will reflect the lineups recorded before the closing of the 2013 summer transfer window.
