The anticipated anime film "Fate/Grand Order," which was initially set to premiere on May 8, has been postponed to May 15. Fans won't get to see the movie, the second installment, "Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot – Paladin: Agateram," until Japan's state of emergency has been lifted.
However, that didn’t stop fans from hyping for the movie. Starting on May 5 until the premiere of “Paladin: Agateram,” the creators will be releasing a pre-cut video every day as a teaser to the second cour of the film.
Fans can expect the return of Bedivere, Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight as they battle forces seeking foul power and the anomalies of the era they are in. During “Wandering: Agateram,” the Holy Land turned into a desert. The residents have been driven from their homes, and various groups and forces are at war under this desolate wilderness.
To defend the Holy City and their Lion King, the Knights of the Round Table band together when the whole empire was called to a mysterious era. Meanwhile, Ozymandias, the Sun-King, rebels secretly against the foreign empire's rule.
In the second-cour of the "Fate/Grand Order," fans might expect battles between the group the Lion King as the Goddess Rhongomyniad. There will be hints of the seventh Holy Grail of Solomon to induce the Incineration of Humanity by Demon Gods.
For those who are following the canon, the seventh singularity was the “Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia.” This was originally aired in Funimation as an animated series from Oct. 5, 2019, to March 21, 2020, with 21 episodes.
It will be interesting to see the second cour of the movie and how it fits as a prequel to “Babylonia.”
Only time can tell if other Fate/Grand Order singularities will get their own animation adaptation. So far, there have been no further updates on the adaptation of the singularities.
Meanwhile, fans can also expect the two-volume OVA titled Fate/Grand Carnival on June 2 and Aug. 25 this year. One can anticipate a mash-up parody from various Fate projects and characters through the years. It is reported that Carnival Phantasm will return to produce the series.
